Hello again! We apologize for not getting this update out yesterday. I had to get some sleep. It has been mayhem and a whirlwind of a to-do lists around the studio. Thank you as always for your patience, patronage and support!

U.S. Kickstarter and Pre-Order Backers.
As some of you may already know, ALL of the U.S. copies of Fallen Land: A Post-Apocalyptic Board Game have been shipped to Kickstarter and Indiegogo Backers. The Backerkit, and Gen Con 50 retail copy pre-orders have also been shipped. Some are still in transit. Some have already been delivered. It has come to our attention that the KS backers have received shipping notice emails, but the Indiegogo and Gen Con 50 retail copy pre-orders have not received an email. Don’t worry. They are on the way, according to Amazon.com as of 8pm CST tonight.
Canadian Kickstarter and Pre-Order Backers
In our last update comments section, we had promised that all of the Canadian backer games would go out with the U.S. games. However, this was an error on our part and we’re sorry. You are ALL important to us and a priority. Rest assured these will be on the way very soon. This is our first campaign and we are still learning the ins-and-outs of Amazon.com international shipping and fulfillment. We will keep you posted with updates as they become available to us. Please be patient. We wanted to be honest and transparent about this with you. Hold fast, it won’t be long. It’s worth the wait, you’re going to love the game.
International Kickstarter and Pre-Order Backers
In our last update we posted that the games will be mid-October and we’re on track to hit that date! You are ALL important to us and a priority. Rest assured these will be on the way as soon as possible. This is our first campaign and we are still learning the ins-and-outs of Amazon.com international shipping and fulfillment. These orders will go out VERY soon and we will keep you posted with updates as they become available to us. Please be patient. It’s worth the wait, you’re going to love the game.
Damaged shipping orders
We have gotten two reports of damaged games so far. It seems both were box corners smashed in transit. We know that all of the orders were received in Joliet, Illinois with no damage. We also know that we were alerted immediately via Seller Central that the Amazon warehouse staff damaged one copy of our game in their warehouse (also good statistics). If this happens to you, please send the Fallen Dominion Studios, LLC Facebook page a message with your name, address, phone number (with international calling codes if necessary), pictures, date, time of delivery and an explanation as to what you THINK happened. We will then need to contact Amazon.com and find out how we can resolve these issues. Rest assured we will get these handled ASAP. We immediately contacted and responded to these two backers today and discussed these issues and will continue to do so if it happen with anyone else. You can count on us.
Missing Pieces
Trying to plan ahead here, if this issue does arise (and we don’t think it will), our intention is to “cannibalize” some of the copies of the game ASAP. Please contact Jon Lonngren at 319-400-5763. Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Greeting friends, backers and fellow gamers! We have been scrambling non-stop with our huge to do list, but we wanted to take a break from all of that to get an update out to all of you great folks. We cannot wait for you to get your copies of Fallen Land: A Post-Apocalyptic Board Game and its first expansion, A Journey Into Darkness!
The train with the 40 cargo container of games inbound from the port of Vancouver finally arrived in Chicago on September 8th. It then cleared customs and was loaded onto semi trucks bound for Joliet, Illinois. From there it arrived safely at Amazon.com processing center on the 10th of September. It is in the “receiving phase” of being checked in there. According to the Amazon website, this will take at least another week to get everything ready to begin shipping out. We have continued to monitor this progress as it developes (35-40% right now). After that is complete, the games will begin to ship out to our US backers. From this point in time, to when the games arrive on the doorsteps of our US backers, puts us in at just under two weeks, so the last week of September, but hopefully sooner.
The copies of the game bound for our European and overseas Backers will continue their journey from Joliet to their respective distribution centers overseas. We are currently projecting this to take an additional two to three weeks, which put those copies on the doorsteps of our overseas and European backers in mid-October.
We will continue to post updates frequently to keep everyone apprised of the situation, in all areas. As everyone is aware, this is our first Kickstarter project and we appreciate your patience. It is worth the wait, we promise! The next update should be on Thursday September 21st, or sooner as they begin shipping.
Once again, we are looking forward to you all getting your copies of the game, and we know you're going to love playing it, as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you all over the last 13 years. We can't wait for you to get it tabled with your game group(s)! So far, the game has gotten an awesome reception and is rated an 8.8 on Board Game Geek! This makes us very happy and we are confident that number will continue to rise as you all have “the Fallen Land” experience for yourselves. :)

Arrival In North America

Hello everyone! We have arrived home safely to Iowa from an incredible Gen Con 50! As always, it was AMAZING meeting some of our great Kickstarter Backers, fans and a whole new crowd that was excited about Fallen Land: A Post-Apocalyptic Board and its 1st expansion, A Journey Into darkness. We did about 90 mph on the way home from Indianapolis (a 6 hour trip) in a valiant attempt to catch Sundays episode of Game Of Thrones. :) But we still didn't make it in time...
We have been scrambling & playing catch up all week and still have a lot of things to do on our multiple lists. However, we felt it important to update everyone with the latest information about the game. As always, thank you all for your patience, patronage and support.
The giant 40 foot cargo container filled with the game has arrived in North America! It successfully made long journey across the Pacific ocean from Guang Dong Province in China! Our manufacturing partners at Wingo Games have been fantastic. The games are sitting in a port in Vancouver Canada. It is waiting to be loaded on a semi or semi trucks, and will then clear customs upon its arrival to Chicago, on or near September 4th. From there, our customs agent will arrange for it to clear customs and continue its journey to Joliet Illinois. We are super excited that it is getting close. We are doing our distribution of the game from there, with our partners Amazon.com. We are looking forward to you all getting your copies of the game, and we know you're going to love playing it, as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you all over the last 13 years. We can't wait for you to get it tabled with your game group(s)!

We are currently redesigning our website completely. We will have a Solo Variant I and II video down the road here. It is on our list and we wanted to make sure that you folks know that we haven't forgotten about that.

Minor Update

The invasion of the The Fallen Lands has officially begun!
Yesterday, the studio received its direct shipment of 24 copies of Fallen Land: A Post-Apocalyptic Board Game and 24 copies of its first expansion, A Journey Into Darkness. Knowing full well the slow boat from China would take about a month or so to arrive, we planned ahead and paid an exorbitant amount of money to have the manufacturer ship our studio copies to us. They are of course earmarked for reviewers, so a quick shout out to Forrest Bower, of Bower's Game Corner (who picked Fallen Land APABG as his 2016 Most Anticipated Game of The Year), Steve Goodell from The One Sided Die, Board Game Exposure and a few others :)
The remaining copies will go to other reviewers to help spread the word and be used for demoing the game at upcoming conventions. GEN CON 50 is only weeks away! Come see us at booth #2938!
Needless to say, we are SERIOUSLY excited to have them here!
Below are a few snapshots of this momentous occasion. Words cannot describe how happy this makes us. Don't worry, the boat with the main shipment of games, in a 40 foot cargo container, is well underway--somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Crossing the Ocean

First of all, we wanted to again express our thanks for your patience, patronage and support. Thank you! :)
It was important to us to have concrete information for you all before posting this update. This took a little longer than we anticipated, so again, thanks for hanging in there with us. We are VERY excited for you all to get your copies of the game and for you to be able to enjoy playing it (finally) and to experience all of the wonderful surprises our game has to offer. We are sure you are exited to bring it to the table for your friends and gaming groups to enjoy as well. Don't forget to spread the word!
Our product should be leaving Wingo Games factory tomorrow in China and heading to the docks. From there, it will be put in a container for its sea voyage to the port here in the US. This should take about 20-30 days. From there, it will be trucked to the Amazon distribution center in Joliet Illinois. After arriving there, it will be begin to be processed immediately and start shipping shortly after that to all of you great folks!
Again, we appreciate the patience. Believe us, we are just as excited (if not more) than all of you folks. Every day we continue to get emails and phone calls of excited supporters wanting to talk about the game and telling us how excited they are to play! Nothing makes us happier than hearing people excited about Fallen Land: A Post-Apocalyptic Board Game and its first expansion: A Journey Into Darkness. Trust us. You are going to LOVE IT and it will have been worth the wait! :)
We will be posting updates more frequently now that the MAJOR hurdle is completed. This will hopefully include the boats name etc... in addition to any other information that is important.
